Content of the Cytothera Plus Kit

This Kit is composed of the following:

A folder for the parents with the following documentation:

Dispatch documentation (which is to be filled in and given to the courier at the time of transport, after collection);
A letter to the parents (With instructions on how to proceed on the day of delivery).

A folder for the Healthcare Professional with the following documentation:

The procedure for collection and packing of the Umbilical Cord Blood and Tissue;
Collection Form for the Umbilical Cord Blood and Tissue (A paper form that must be filled in by the Healthcare Professional);
Barcode Tag with a Unique Identification Code.

Materials necessary for Umbilical Cord Blood and Tissue collection:

Sterile 150 ml blood collecting bag with anticoagulant (25 ml of CPD);
Sterile recipient for collection of the umbilical cord;
Gauze;
Disinfecting liquid;
Two umbilical clamps;
Plastic bag with absorbing paper, to store the collecting bag after collection;
Isothermic Gel;
Isothermic, shock proof packaging.

It is possible to collect only the umbilical cord – Cytothera Cord. In this case, you will receive a Kit for the collection of the umbilical cord alone.
